This week I’m presenting a cool infographic from Julianna Rae about Social Media Relationships.
Social Media has made remarkable impact on many aspects of life such as art, entertainment, music, news, and even job hunting; but one especially interesting area of life that social media has almost completely transformed is romantic relationships.
Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably witnessed the ways in which social media sites such as Hi5, Bebo, MySpace, FriendFeed and especially Facebook have infiltrated the romantic relationships of the people around you. Case in point, as many as 500 million people (out of 845 million total users) have logged into their Facebook account and declared to their entire network what the deal is with their love life.
Staggering as that is, this doesn’t even take into account what additional information about their romantic life that they are sharing, such as pictures, dating activities, gripes, complaints, etc.
Social Media Relationships Infographic
So not for nothing, this Infographic, Social Media’s Growing Impact on Relationships, gathers the statistics about how Facebook, and social media as a whole, has really impacted relationships today; from the ‘Ways Facebook Changed Dating’ to ‘Ways Facebook Causes Relationship Stress’.
This infographic was developed by Julianna Rae, makers of fine, silk lingerie and intimates for women.
